I bought this huge coffee table book and it is a sure thing . Espsecialy if you like Elvgren's pin ups and want to buy only one book . It contains about 600 faboulus images of his art divided by eras and by themes with a few pages of introduction at the start , beside that and the pinups titles there is little text if any which is good because this is what I look for in an art book .
A nice touch is that next to some pinups there is a b/w photo of the model posing for that image , most images are only teasing ( and were probably considered very bold at the time ) but there are also many nudes . Apart from the artistic value , you get a lot of book for a reasonable price , Best value >
