Scott Campbell ( pencils ) and Alex Garner ( inks ) were partners to the art of "Danger Girl" , a personal favorite and one of the best drawn comic books .
The story is
about a mostly girls spy team trying to stop an evil Nazi organization called "Hammer" from TAKING OVER THE WORLD in a comic much influenced by James Bond/Indiana Jones movies , scripted very well and Campbell's strive for perfect outcome resulted in great artwork ( and many delays ) and you can count on your fair share of T&A , but mild enough not to upset anyone . Those who missed the first ( and now out of print/rare ) issues get another chance to read it by buying Danger Girl : the ultimate collection .
Previous to "Dangergirl", Campbell & Garner worked together at another successful comic series called "GEN 13" about5 teens with special super power , also collected as "GEN 13 - Starting over" ( reprint of issues #1 to-#7 at a very low price ) . Unfortunately Garner had decided to part way with Campbellabout in danger girl #6 which is a real shame because their style really complemented each other .
