I did not buy this book for one reason . I have all the 7 first issues of "Danger Girl" one way or the other , if it was not for that I'd be standing in line already . "Danger Girl" is one of the best comics I've ever seen in terms of story script and art . The combination of Scott Campbell and Alex Garner produced great images and its pity it ended somewhere between danger girl 6 or 7 . Yet after some not so successful tryouts I believe a new inker with a style close of that of Garner was found ( some pages are inked in different style ) .
The story it self is about a team of international spy girls collected from various parts of the world under the leading of a retired spy looking suspiciously like Shean Conry who set to stop Evil Nazi like organization called "Hammer" from TAKING OVER THE WORLD ( how original ) yet the mostly good script make it very enjoyable . Many influences of James Bond , Indiana Jones and other movies are seen in both story and art .
As with the Girls it is a good opportunity to throw in a fair amount of tits and ass but Campbell does it mild enough not to upset anyone . 256 pages of great art .Order Now , update : most hardcover prints are out so opt for the paperbacks before they run out too >
