Rating I had great exceptions from this title , like everyone else I heard about "Gen13" , and admiring Campbell's work I had to Buy it .. it did not turned out to be what I hoped for .
Sure you get great artwork by Campbell and Garner but the plot isn't reliable and somewhat boring no matter how much cheesecake was put into it . The stories are about an evil monster guy breaking out of jail to take revenge at the Gen13 kids , later they are washed ashore to an amazon island while trying to rescue a pilot lost in the jungle and in between they fight some evil group of monster from another dimension which I think was trying to TAKE OVER THE WORLD .
I know it is a very successful comic series but compared with "Danger Girl" it lacks in every field and I think I understand why Campbell left it to make his own comics . You do get 7 issues, the variant covers and very good art for a great price .Popular comic but I was not impressed > Gen13 : Starting Over at Amazon.com .
