How-to Draw books & guides
An excellent source to learn and improve your art at the comfort of your own home and pace , these books cover various subjects like penciling , perspective , anatomy , inking , coloring etc.
There
are many how to draw books for the aspiring artist , some are
good , some are bad , what they all have in common is
that they cost a small fortune ( which can explain why
most artists are poor ) . The reason I'm buying as many as I can is that even if I get few tips from a book or learn something new it was worth it .
Each book contains knowledge and tips for drawing yet the really good books have many tips , cover a subject throughout or contain such valuable and detailed information that you can use as reference every now and then ( like anatomy of the human body ) .

Ofcourse you can not buy and read all the books , so to help you out I've gathered many of the books I've bought and read that helped me improve my art . Along each one I've written my honest
opinion and what's worth buying or not . Also I'd like to add a short disclaimer : buying books alone won't improve your art ( maybe just your ability to build more shelves ) you must apply what you learn and practice , practice , practice ..
